Hexagon Block Sort

Hexagon Block Sort combines block-placement mechanics with color-matching logic. Instead of sorting inside tubes, you drag hexagonal pieces onto a grid and try to arrange them so that matching colors align. When you complete a row or a pattern of the same color, those blocks clear — making room for more pieces.

How Hexagon Block Sort plays

You receive hexagon-shaped blocks in various colors. Drag each block onto the board and position it next to other hexagons. The goal is to create complete lines or clusters of one color, which then disappear and free up grid space. The game ends if the board fills up with no valid placement left.

What makes it different

• Spatial strategy: Unlike tube-based sort games, you control where each piece lands — placement matters as much as color.
• Continuous flow: Blocks keep coming, so each placement affects the next several moves.
• Hexagon grid: The six-sided shape creates more adjacency possibilities than a square grid, making combo clears more interesting.

Strategy tips for Hexagon Block Sort

1. Keep the board open. Avoid filling the center too quickly — a crowded center leaves fewer placement options.
2. Plan for combos. Placing a block that clears two colors at once is far more valuable than clearing just one.
3. Think in rows and clusters. Some clears happen vertically, others horizontally. Know which pattern you are building toward before placing.
4. Save tricky colors for the edges. If a color is rare, place its blocks near the border so they do not block other moves.
